→ PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Basically. But more seriously, Elijah is a very well-kempt man with suits and ties being his modus operandi. (But hold onto your panties ladies if he breaks out a three-piece suit.) He's also pretty tall (5'11") and has a fairly toned build.
→ DEMEANOR: Elijah is fairly reserved. Most of his facial expressions are very minute and manners/proper etiquette are paramount. That doesn't mean he's incapable of being cruel though. If someone has been messing with his siblings, they can expect hell to pay from him. But outside of that, Elijah is fairly friendly to those that are willing to approach. He's just not the warm and cuddliest of vampires.
→ ABILITIES:
Compulsion
By making eye contact, a vampire can compel a human to say/do anything as well as erase whole memories or change characteristics of their victim. Victims are unaware that they've been compelled. As an Original, Elijah is able to also compel other vampires. The older a vampire is (and with more practice), the stronger and better their compulsion is. Compulsion is also affected by diet. A vampire who is feeding on human blood over animal blood has an easier time compelling their intended victims. Also, if the victim is wearing or consuming vervain, they are immune to compulsion. This is also true in the case of an Original compelling a vampire. If a human has been compelled and then is turned into a vampire, they remember everything they were compelled to say/do or forget.

Dream Walking/Memory Sharing
Vampires are able to manipulate and project themselves into the dreams of others, including other vampires. This isn't often utilized in the show so there's really no firmly established limitations, but it's generally safe to say if someone has been ingesting or wearing vervain, this becomes impossible like compulsion. Elijah, in particular, has demonstrated in canon the ability to also project memories into the minds of others, but they need to be open to it.

Healing/Immortality
Vampires heal at a much faster rate than a human would. Also most injuries that would be fatal to a human (ex. breaking their neck), they'll be knocked out for a while, but will eventually come to again. Vampires live forever and stay young forever, but that doesn't mean they can't be killed. In Elijah's case, he can be temporarily neutralized with a silver dagger dipped in white oak ash. The dagger must stay lodged in his heart. He can be permanently killed if he's staked with a stake made of the white oak.

Super Senses, Agility & Strength
Vampires can smell, hear, see, and taste above what a normal human can. They basically have the nose of a bloodhound, can eavesdrop from quite a distance away even above other noise, have the eyes of a cat when it comes to night vision, and they've got pretty sensitive taste buds that I lack some sort of analogy or description for beyond it's hype. Diet & age also affect strength and agility for vampires. They are generally able to move at inhuman speeds. They have faster reflexes and when running appear to be blurs to the human eye. They're also able to jump to and from high places with ease and would look a bit like flying, but it's not. They use their strength in conjunction with their agility to fight/throw people/things. Vampires are stronger than werewolves when the werewolf hasn't changed shapes.

Elijah has also demonstrated a stronger ability to detect vervain.

Day-Walking
Vampires need the assistance of a witch to walk in the daylight. Elena possesses a ring that allows him to walk in the sun, but it's not 100% foolproof as the magic can be tampered with and make it useless.

Weaknesses
Elijah is weak to everything other vampires are weak to - sunlight, fire, stakes, and vervain - but they are not fatal. In fact, in the case of vervain, it would take mass quantities before it really would impact Elijah. Likewise, where a werewolf bite would eventually kill a regular vampire, the most it will do for Elijah is cause hallucinations, fever, and some weakening for a few hours. The only thing that really equally affects Elijah and other vampires is the required invitation to a private residence.

Lastly, if Elijah were to permanently die, vampires he turned and vampires they turned would die shortly thereafter.
